About
Education is Vital to Society
Education is one of the most vital aspects that contributes to a society’s structural stability. If you have ever stepped into a classroom, you hopefully have been able to witness magic and miracles occur. Teachers pride themselves in the ability to get students to find boldness within themselves to learn. They work hard each day to create lifelong learners who can become innovators and change agents. However, this is not the experience in every classroom. In fact, for decades we’ve heard of the high levels of turnover amongst educators. We’ve seen and heard countless newscasts about the state of education in America. The question is always, “what can we do to improve our systems of education?”
Finding Systematic Solutions
Gaynair Consulting Services was created to help find systematic solutions to the various challenges faced in schools and school systems. The idea is to not simply solve a singular problem, but to understand how one problem affects the whole and how proposed solutions can alter the entire system. Our aim is to find holistic solutions that will create improvements and yield positive results for the student, the faculty, the school and/or the entire school system.

My Story
Journey to the Field of Education
My story is simple, I come from a family that values education. That right there is the majority of all that needs to be said. I was a part of a family, my mother being an teacher, that taught me that education was a key to success. Was I the best student? Above average, maybe; but far from the best. However, the values instilled in me as a child provided me with the key to unlock my success and to become an amazing educator. Have I always been interested in a career in education? Far from it. In fact, teaching was the only job I said I would never do! Yet, somehow I had a calling to it.
I got my Bachelors of Science in Biology Education from Oakwood University and graduated with dual teaching certifications; one for the state of Alabama and the other for the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventist (the second largest parochial school system in the United States). Later, I transferred my Alabama teaching credential for a Florida teacher certification. Fifteen years later, I maintain both sets of credentials and have taught in both public and private institutions.
Qualifications as an Educational Consultant and Advocate
In addition to my studying Education, I’ve also studied Nonprofit Management and Project Management. These fields of study have provided me with great insight on what strategic leadership means and how it can result in great success for any institution or system. Over the years, I have found great pleasure in solving management issues by taking a holistic approach to solving problems and/or instituting systematic change.
After 10 years of teaching and 5 years working as an administrator, I’ve learned a lot about the various systems of education that fill the American landscape. Having worked in the classroom, school office and with various schools across district and state lines, I have acquired a wealth of knowledge about what works and what does not work when planning for school improvements. My great desire now is to share that knowledge with others. There are many problems in the realm of education, but their are also many positive gains. Let me help you focus on achieving those high goals that will result in continued success and growth for you and your institution.
